Description:
“The Sacred Lion of Life” is a work of art based on sacred geometric motifs, created through a long and profound design process. From ancient forms—the Seed of Life, Germ of Life, Egg of Life, and Flower of Life—emerges a completely new, unique visual form: the face of a lion. The artwork symbolizes strength, harmony, and spiritual protection, while also representing a contemporary spiritual innovation in sacred art.
This composition leads us into the realm of sacred geometry and the unexplored mystical world, forming part of a larger collection called Sacred Forms of Life. Using unique design, the repeating motifs of the Flower of Life form a lion’s face—an ancient being radiating noble, primal energy. The intertwined mandorla shapes create a blossoming form that conveys visual harmony and an internal pulse, as if nature’s deep order speaks through golden petals.
The outer curve of the composition is formed by round flower petals, representing the mane, the “crown.” These rounded, mandorla-shaped elements build rhythmically, resembling a stylized sun disc or sacred halo around the lion’s head. The petals flow harmoniously, gently embracing the face.
This regular, natural structure brings the lion’s features to life: the golden eyes emerge mysteriously from the pattern, exuding dignity, strength, and courage. The nose, mouth, and ears blend seamlessly into the golden petal-like elements, while darker shades form a distinguishable beard pattern, enhancing the lion’s masculine appearance.
The interplay of lighter and darker golden tones, earthy hues, and deep browns gives the form depth and richness, creating a soothing yet awakening effect.
The hidden harmony of the artwork is based on the ancient law of the golden ratio, a proportion that repeats in nature’s forms and resonates deeply in human consciousness. Thus, the visual experience is not just aesthetic but a journey back to the ancient order and rhythm of the world.
The lion here is not just a symbol of power and courage but also of inner light, vigilance, and spiritual protection. The face emerging from the Flower of Life is a sacred mirror—reminding us of our connection to the divine.
